Our Mission

Current identity systems store what they should verify.

Every scanned passport and copied ID creates a central database of personal data. That database will be targeted, and when it is breached, you are liable.

Partisia builds verification products that give people full control over their digital identity. Identity should be portable and user-owned, private by default.

We build the identity infrastructure for eIDAS 2.0. Enterprises use it to verify, issue, and manage digital credentials ahead of the EU mandate. When additional privacy is needed, Multi-Party Computation keeps data encrypted even during processing.

Vision

Proof of Concept

Ivan Damgård publishes foundational research on secure computation at Aarhus University.

2008

First Commercial Deployment

The world's first commercial privacy-preserving computation goes live: a Danish sugar beet auction run entirely on encrypted data.

2013

Sepior Founded

The team spins out Sepior, a key management company later acquired by Blockdaemon.

2015

Norwegian Spectrum Auction

Partisia designs and operates the privacy-preserving auction for Norway's 1800 MHz spectrum allocation. NOK 878 million in spectrum rights traded across 83 bidding rounds.

2023

Partisia Identity

Partisia shifts to Decentralized Identity. Launches VisitorPass and AgeVerify on the Partisia Platform.

2025

Enterprise Partnerships

Partnerships with TOPPAN Edge (digital student ID) and Trust Stamp (biometric identity). Mastercard Lighthouse FINITIV Denmark Country Winner.
